It will be interesting to see how much more there is to this than a Street Triple with a fairing and clip-ons.
Also, is the Moto2 branding simply a few extra stickers, or is there any meat to it in terms of performance ?

It’s a little bittersweet because I bought my brand new ST 765 since they didn’t make the Daytona anymore and that was a month and a half ago. However, I love the triple and I don’t see the need to drop it for this. However, I now want a Daytona in 2-3 years for track duty. It would be hard for me to track-only a brand new bike, but If they follow this up with another large scale 765 Daytona production I wouldn’t be opposed to doing it.

I’m just going to do trackdays and the like. I’m not a competitive racer

Depends on pricing as well. They’re practically giving away sportbikes from other brands in these parts, $4k discounts advertised on a ZX6 or GSXR.
I think a ~$15k MSRP would be fair if it’s loaded with electronics and other good shit. Any more than that and you might as well get a 1000.
